The Circle Church: Community Photoshoot
The Trading Rack and the Liminal Space Collective came together to celebrate this unique environment, one full of art and artists to commemorate the space because of its plans for demolition in the near future.
"The Circle Church: Community Photoshoot" was originally called "Queer Identity and Gender Expression (QIGE) Community Photoshoot."
I changed the title for two reasons:
1- The length (lol)
2- Externalized expression, coming from a person who identifies as queer, is subjective and can be really controversial. I am fascinated in and explore this topic everyday.

For me, the original title, "QIGE," shines context on the unique, beautiful, and liberating experience shared on the day of this huge event:
A bunch of awesome Santa Cruz community members, who happen to mostly identify as queer, came together to take photos.
